Giblink for free? Yup, isn't that mad

As anyone who has ever read any of my entries knows, I am into network marketing, and I enjoy it. I have been a member of Giblink since October 07, and it's a pretty good program to be involved in. Lot of people don't actually like it (or if truth be know, they know nothing about it).

I can categorically say that I have been paid! The only critisism I can actually come up with, is that when changes are made, they can be a bit slow to deliver, but they do deliver, and that's the important thing. I have been looking a blogs on the social networks I am a member of, and I am not always sure that we are all blogging correctly. Now I am no expert, so I don't even think I'm doing it correctly, however I found a good resource. Best of blogging.

Gibline or Giblink - Whatever you want to call it

I joined Giblink last year. So far I have been paid and I find it a very positive experience. It has a profit sharing scheme, and a business social network. You can chat with like minded people, blog, advertise and generally get in touch with other people and network.

I have however seen lots n lots of blogs (outside giblink blogs) being exceedingly critical of how it works etc;

I have to say it's just not true. I HAVE BEEN PAID!!! There is a long term goal to Giblink, and it possibly takes someone willing to take a chance to see it. I have seen 1000's of programs all promise the earth, moon and stars. Like selling entrance to a program for $997 dollars. When I looked into those types of programs, they were offering NOTHING, just wanting people to pay $997 for entrance to a database (well that's the impression I got).

With giblink you have options to pay but basically it works out at $600 a year and you can pay monthly, quarterly or yearly, and you will get monthly and lifetime shares as well as getting a share in the revenue. You also have access to the business social network. Not only that but you have a domain and hosting webshop, where you can buy your own e-solutions or you can sell them to others.

So before you listen to someone who is NOT a member of giblink, you are better off listening to someone who is. It's a growing site, and has everything you would expect from profit sharing to social networking.

Scratches on Hardwood floor or furniture

OK, getting rid of scratches on hard wood floors or furniture can work out to be very very expensive.

This is a tried and tested tip to make these scratches almost invisible (it will not remove them completely, that is really a french polishers job).

OIL and VINEGAR. Yup oil and vinegar. If you mix on part vinegar with one part olive oil (or any type of vegetable, sunflower oil, basically an oil you would use to cook with). Mix as well as you can and pour on the area with the scratches. Leave it to soak in for 12-24 hours and then rub off with a dry cloth.

The oil softens the scratches and the vinegar removes any dirt that makes the scratches visible. If it's a clean scratch, just use the oil, the vinegar helps better when and item needs a bit of a clean too. Works a treat on antique furniture that you may want to sell but have the additional costs of geting re-furbished.

As the internet has really made the world a whole lot smaller, languages is one of the biggest stumbling blocks that you can come across.

If you are looking to translate pieces of text or words one of the best resources is Babel Fish (just type it into any search engine and you'll get it).

Now I am a native English speaker, but I live in The Netherlands. I can understand nearly everything, however there are stumbling blocks for writing etc; I have found babel fish very useful. Now don't get me wrong, it's by no means perfect, the grammar can sometimes be questionable, but you will get your point across.

So if your looking for a quick free online translator than babel fish is the one for you.

With all the competing ways of getting your google adsense out there, there is a great service that will accept your adsense account. The best thing about them is, is that the search engines are VERY quick to pick up on your articles.

You need www.hubpages.com. Not only can you publish your own articles, but you can get some very interesing information, and you can request information form others. As you all know, the golden rule for Adsense is "Content is King". Hub pages helps you achieve this. You can publish all your articles and once they are not filled with spam and promotion of one particular program etc; they will stay published.

With all the hosting packages that are out there and all the extras they offer you if you're not tech minded (just like myself) it can get extremely confusing, and it's easy to get bogged down.

I have found a BRILLIANT free hosting company, they have everything that you need whether you have your own domain name or whether you want to use their sub-domain. You have sql, php, file management, e-mail etc; Basically everything you would expect from a host and all for free.

Even though you can get your own domain name, you can easily use thier sub domains. And it's not an intrusive sub-domain, so you get http://yourdomain.890m.com. How unobtrusive is that? They have great support and the control panel is very simple to understand and use. They even advise you as to the best FTP software to use (if you don't know what FTP is, it's basically a way to transfer your files to your hosting account).

The only thing that you may find a drawback is that if you want free hosting for many sites, you can only set up one every 24 hours, but that's a small price to pay for something you are getting for free.

Spin Success, my opinion

If you are a marketer, I am sure you have come across Spin Success. It costs $29.99 per month.

I claims that it blasts your urls to all the major search engines and you will see an increase in sales and hits to your site.

When you join up, you enter your url. You will then receive an e-mail with your details, and where your url was blasted to. You will also receive free credits to the value of $100 to two small search engines, where you can bid on key words.

I have to say, when I logged in, the main focus on the site, seems NOT to be the service they provide, but in getting you to get referrals for their service.

That being said, their support service is very poor. You enter a ticket and it takes FAR too long to be answered. If the service was free it wouldn't matter too much when they answered, however when you are a customer, and answer withing 24 hours is not unreasonable. In fact, you don't even get an e-mail to let you know you ticket has been entered, but your ticket is actually there (I made a note of the ticket number).

Now, lets' ignore these two let downs, and focus on what they claim, visitors, increase in sales to your website, or helping you to build your downline. This is one heck of a claim and has yet to be proven in my experience. In fact I have had more success from traffic exchanges and safelists.

Just as an added note, you have to submit a ticket to close your account, which I have of course duly submitted, but I have yet to hear one iota back.

Skype... It's an absolute gift!

I am living in the Netherlands, but I am actually Irish (Dublin born and bred). I am married to a Dutch man.

I was spending an absolute fortune ringing home (yes I still call Ireland home, no matter where I am in the world, Ireland will always be home). I had been told about skype so many times, but I just never got around to getting it.

I am so glad that I did. I save an absolute fortune. All you need is a microphone and speaker set, they range from cheap (0.99) for a basic earphone and headset microphone, to the 100's. Depending on what you want to use skype for, should determine what kind of equipment you get.

Skype to skype calls are free. So basically if you are in the UK you can call anyone you know who also has a skype connection, whether they are your neighbor or a cousin who has emigrated to Australia. You can also instant message with the people you are talking to, or to someone who is on another call. One of the best features (well this is my opinion) is the conference call facility, I have often been chatting to my mom and sisters for hours, all together. It's truly a great feature!!

You can also call anyone who does not have a skype connection for a very low cost to their landline. Usually for the 0.01 per minute. You can send text messages, you can also call mobile/cell phones, but this does cost quiet a bit more, usually 0.24 per minute.

So all in all skype is well worth opening an account with. I would seriously recommend it. Just type skype into your search engine, or got to www.skype.com It's free and one of the best ways to connect with your friends, family and business contacts

Google Apps

With the internet and websites becoming more and more accessible for your average person, one great way of getting you own site is via Google.

Google is by far the most popular search engine, and it's popularity has not waned, despite how big it has become.

Google has also made creating your own website as simple as using Word. You have two options. You can get a free website with will have googlepages in the domain name. For example I have created a website on debt and it's domain name is

To avail of this kind of website just open and Gmail account and attached to that account you will have a variety of programs at your disposal, one being a page creator. Its ultra easy to use, but it also comes with great instructions.

Your second option, if you want a business site for example is to use Google apps. Here you have various packages suitable for schools, charities, small business etc; Its' incredible reasonable, and you have everything you would expect from any provider, e-mail, hosting, domain name with two distinguishable feature:
1. It's really easy to use (and comes with step by step instructions)
2. You can also save your documents online. Google has word processing, spreadsheets etc; and you can access them where ever you are in the world.

With this paid option you get your own domain name, and as part of your url you can use the domain name of your choice, www.domainnam.com and when people visit the site they will see the domain along the lines of www.domainname.com/a.googlepages.com
but your site is directly accessible from your chosen url.

All in all Google have pretty much thought of everything. Currently there is only one draw back, and that is in relation to the FTP and SQL file access, and that is, that you don't have it yet. However if you are not tech savvy (a bit like my good self), you will be able to find your way around the Google Applications with ease, and their FAQs and help are very in depth. They even have forums to assist you.

So if you are looking for something that is easy and manageable just type google apps into you search engine and sign up.

A decent Manual Traffic Exchange

Everyone will try and sell you traffic. There are some great traffic exchanges out there, and are well worth joining up.

Recently I discovered http://www.trafficera.com and it is one of the best traffice exchanges I have come across in recent times.

They have paid memberships, and like any good traffic exchange they also have free memberships. In all honestly the free membership is well worth getting. The paid membership is reasonable and gives you those little extras!

Like all traffic exchanges you surf for credits, and you can assign an url to use up the credits. For each page visit you receive credits which convert into seconds. You will usually get 3 seconds, but as you surf you get bonus time credits, which all add up, and you can have a healthy amount of credits for surfing for a short period of time. You can also gather clocks and tokens, which have different advertising values. So in principle it's just like any other manual surf exchange.

However where http://www.trafficera.com does distinguish it's self is in it's member area. You can join an interest group, and message members. It's like a surf exchange meets a social network, and it's well worth a visit, so if you want to join, just visit http://www.trafficera.com

Getting Giblinked...?

If you are a network marketer you will have heard of Giblink. I have absolutely no doubt about that fact.

Giblink a 3 pronged approach, a business social network, your gibline account and an internet solutions affiliate site!

There will shortly be a free membership plan, but currently there is the standard and professional accounts, which cost $50 and $150 respectively per quarter.

This turns quiet a number of people off joining. Quiet frankly it shouldn't. Giblink is only six months old, and is still changing, but joining WILL make you money, especially before the free memberships start up.

I am going to be 100% honest, I have been paid, and so far I have made my investment back, however it has been predicted that the longer you are involved the better your long term payments.

So I personally HIGHLY recommend giblink. It is NOT a get rich quick scheme, but it have the patience to way a few years to see your financial goals achieved, then this is most certainly the program for you. Adbux...?

There are a lot of rip off Pay to read (ptr) and pay to read (ptr) programs out there. Some good and a whole lot bad.

One I can recommend is Adbux, another ptc tried to rip them off a while ago with their site, but they are are site that are, to be diplomatic, dishonest. Adbux is different, they do try to do what they say.

You will be paid, you will have ads to click, and if you refer people you WILL get paid for what they do. They are not a high PTC, but then the high paying ones are usually a waste of your time anyway.

They have two types of incentives. Paid to click ads and paid to complete offers which are higher paying than the the paid to click. The paid to complete have to be verified. The paid to click work by you logging in to your account, clicking on an ad, and waiting for thirty seconds, key in the code and hit enter, and presto you will have been credited for that click. Simple huh?

If they have delays or problems, the WILL tell you. If you have a query they will answer it. They are in fairness a pretty good site. So if you want more information just click on http://www.adbux.org

Paid to network?

If you are on myspace or facebook I am sure you have seen that some users are also a member of a new type of social network called yuwie!

It has everything you would expect from a social network, you can load your pictures, blogs, send messages, leave comments. So nothing new there than.

What distinguishes yuwie from other social networks is that it pays its users a percentage of its advertising revenue, up to 10 levels! Now sometimes the advertising can be a bit annoying, but if you can get past all of that it's a great network.

I am a member and to be honest, it is not something that is going to make me a millionaire. It might in the long term make me a small additional income. I also have to say, the the reason I originally joined was to make money, but now I am 100% addicted.

It is a site that is easy to navigate and is completely family friendly. Not only are the owners of the site dedicated to keeping it that way, so are it's users. Yuwie also have one additinal feature that not many others have. It has its own online radio station.
